MY BABY IS HOME

They initially said it would take until Tuesday, but I got a call today saying it was ready. I picked it up after work and it is home and I love my car.

  • Labor - $418.30

    • Diagnosis & Testing, No-Crank & No-Start, Includes Testing Fuses, Wiring, Electrical System, Fuel System, etc. - $99.00

    • Remove & Replace ECM Computer & Reprogram & Retest - $316.80

    • Hazardous Disposal Fee - $2.50

With tax it came to a grand total of $1067.90.

Probably depends on what they make automobile on-board computers out of, and what happened to it when it was fried. If it was also covered in oil/grease, they couldn't just throw it away.

Trufax: Car on-board computers are made from medical waste and depleted uranium. $2.50 is probably a bargain to cart that off.
