New Computering

After a week and a half1 of fretting about my dead computer, the FedEx Home Delivery man showed up today with a box.
It was a big box.
Ladies and Gentlemen, I give to you...

This machine is so completely gorgeous and fast. The monitor's a little older and its max resolution is 1366x768, not the 1440x900 I'm used to, but it's a tiny difference and the screen itself is bigger2 anyway.
With the higher-end graphics card I chose, I've got a couple digital video connection ports I can use. I'll probably pick up a cable for it later; right now the VGA cable that came with is just fine.
I'll be spending the next couple days tweaking the settings and getting it just the way I want, but right now? I'm back in the game.

- Okay, a week and a day. But who's counting?
- 18.5 inches on the diagonal. Felix's screen was 17. SIZE DOES MATTER.
