alliancesjrGot home today, and there was a package for me. My new video card. I wasn't expecting it until tomorrow. I love it when things come early. So I installed it, updated the drivers, and booted up World of Warcraft.
Aside from the time it takes to log into Thunderhorn, and the occasional choppy framerate and lag - which according to Durotar General chat-channel was at least partially the server itself - it runs beautifully. Not as beautifully as it runs on Rene's computer, but my Felix pales in comparison to Sadako.
Reserved a name in the RP server we're going to be in when the Expansion hits - Gen, you should still have my PM - and created my Thunderhorn main. Male Troll Hunter, Krajin, currently level 2.
You were wrong, Gen. I am able to play. And while usually I wouldn't rub it in, I imagine that this is the type of thing that you wanted to be wrong about.
I'll see you on Thunderhorn on Saturday or Sunday.
