Got home today, and there was a package for me. My new video card. I wasn't expecting it until tomorrow. I love it when things come early. So I installed it, updated the drivers, and booted up World of Warcraft.

Aside from the time it takes to log into Thunderhorn, and the occasional choppy framerate and lag - which according to Durotar General chat-channel was at least partially the server itself - it runs beautifully. Not as beautifully as it runs on Rene's computer, but my Felix pales in comparison to Sadako.

Reserved a name in the RP server we're going to be in when the Expansion hits - Gen, you should still have my PM - and created my Thunderhorn main. Male Troll Hunter, Krajin, currently level 2.

You were wrong, Gen. I am able to play. And while usually I wouldn't rub it in, I imagine that this is the type of thing that you wanted to be wrong about.

I'll see you on Thunderhorn on Saturday or Sunday.

Woot!

Make sure you put Wensleydale on your Hordie's friend list!

I'm honestly surprised. It's barely playable with 256mb of RAM (as Grayed will tell you), and I'm surprised your CPU was able to handle the game at all. Well, excellent. You're right, I'm glad to be wrong on this one.

It's running fine (though choppy at random times) in the Valley of Trials, but I'd really rather not try to tackle Orgrimmar until I've upgraded my memory. Which is next on the list.

Yay, I'm glad you can play! <3 Remember to avoid major cities as much as possible, and always during the peak hours. ^^;; Took me two hours to get from the Inn to the Griffon Roost in Stormwind one day, among disconnects. xD

I can imagine. It also doesn't help that my father and sister are also usually on when I am, which slows our DSL to a crawl. D:
