Decision made
I'm placing the order for the first choice now.
This is exciting. Already thinking of new names. Hopefully by this time next week I won't have to use Tessa's computer for updates.
Essential large-scale purchases suck, though. I'm going to have to rebudget my fall now.
EDIT: Totally neat bonus: This purchase puts me over the Free Ticket threshold on my frequent flyer miles. Next vacation I take, I won't have to pay for the flight (except for baggage).
EDIT 2: Order placed; my machine will be built on the 14th. Free shipping!
SON OF EDIT: Just to clarify; it's the top build in my previous post. I'm picking up a monitor too since I don't have one (and a fresh pair of speakers since the pair I'm using technically aren't mine), so deduct about a hundred twenty/hundred thirty from that cost and that's what the actual computer itself is. (Minus the additional $30 coupon.)
It also doesn't say in that screencap, but it includes a free upgrade to Windows 7 when that comes out, and I'll be either borrowing my father's copy of Office 2000 or asking my uncle for a copy of 2007. Since the latter is dependant on my father not being able to find the discs, this should tell you that I really don't want to spend any more money for the rest of the year.
