Three months have passed since I've moved in (and yes, Dayna, I know I still owe you pictures I AM GETTING AROUND TO IT); things seem to be going well so far. Tessa's a really great roommate - she's quiet and thoughtful and mindful of privacy but also takes time out to ask me if I want to watch a movie or play a video game.

We haven't killed each other yet, at least.

Jillian's going to be up here in less than two weeks and if that isn't absolutely terrifying, I don't know what is. It'll be great having her up here, and I'm looking forward to showing her all around the Chicago area and all the places I love up here and she's finally going to meet my parents and my friends and I know they will love her and I hope she loves them and she'll probably also cure me of my run-on-sentence babbling-when-nervous over-hyphenating-words thing.

Or perhaps not. I've had that for a while.

(Sidebar: I really need to get those tickets to Aladdin and the Museum of Science and Industry's Harry Potter Exhibit - it has all the props and such from the movies! - and also probably get around to cleaning my room.)

I really do hope she has a good time up here.
