Am I the only one that pronounces "quixotic" as "Kee-hot-ick" or "Kee-hoe-tick"? As in Don Quixote, the Lord of La Mancha; his destiny calls and he goes.
Everyone I've ever heard pronounce the word, however, pronounces the X as an X. And yes, I realize that it's correct within the English language, but it doesn't sit right with me.
Enh. I guess it doesn't matter.
