Another day.
Feb. 12th, 2007 08:53 amOne more block of classes completed, and another begun. I'm committed to this course of mine, and I won't stop until I have my degree.
This weekend was filled with lots of roleplaying fun; Rene and I jammed back and forth about our characters and the wacky misadventures that never happened. Most fun was a caption war. Rene said I won, but I had run out of steam right then, as I had used up my best ones right from the start. What was even more amazing was the elegant dress she created for Vanessa (and the absolutely adorable-yet-horribly-colored poofy dress for Kate).
Saturday night, Will had me do an initial solo-RP with him to get Vanessa started with the premise of the campaign, setting up the tone for the first group game. The first group session will be after everyone's all set up and caught up, so unless we're going to do various solo-roleplaying interactions between characters, I'm pretty much on RP hiatus for that character.
I will, however, write a small story between now and then.
Krajin hit 62, and I've respecced him to Beastmaster. I've lost my group-utility and versatility (Aimed, Scatter, Trueshot Aura), but my personal DPS has gone up, if you believe that, and that's not including the huge boost in DPS to my wolf Kaie (I'll have to spend some time and train up my raptor to my level and see what kind of insane DPS he has). Weston even lent me the gold I needed to get myself 150-level Riding training, and I had enough of my own money left over to buy myself an epic mount. I got a blue raptor. Pictures will follow.
Less than a month until my Texas trip. I have my tickets purchased, printed, and ready. I'm nervous as all hell, but looking forward to seeing her in person.
