Rene has gotten me watching the show, and it's pretty damned entertaining. Sadly, like most fiction, I have a very difficult time identifying with any of the characters. Regardless, I enjoy watching it if only to see the various characterizations become further fleshed out as the series progresses.
I also watch, wait and hope for the day that misbegotten hell-pony Rainbow Dash finally gets her comeuppance.
