Rain? What rain? Remember where I'm from.

The last few days have been glorious. I know I don't write detailed descriptions of my trip; I will do so when I return, and am able to make one, long, coherent post. 'sides, Jillian's making with the details already. I don't need to steal her thunder.

Speaking of thunder, there's this huge storm swinging through right now. Lightning, rain, hail - all the good stuff. Jillian's dog doesn't like it, and the girl herself likes to cling to me whenever the storm sounds like it's closer. (I'm not complaining; clinging is good.)

Met a friend of hers, checked out the local mall, went to Moody Gardens and pulled a Tom Hanks on the giant foot piano, ate some incredibly large dinners that were also incredibly heavy; felt it in the morning, but man, was it worth every bite.

Tomorrow through Friday, we'll be in San Antonio, checking out touristy stuff. The Alamo, whatever else is there...it'll be fun.

My camera isn't working and it took Jillian a couple days to find the charger for hers, but there are pictures, there will be more, and they will be posted in one journal or another. Do not worry about that.

Also? Finally got Jillian to finish watching Firefly and Serenity. She seems glad she did. Now I just need to bring over the Buffy boxsets and we'll be set.

My week's been absolutely wonderful.
