Silver Dragons
Jan. 31st, 2007 11:29 amReading through the Draconomicon, I found that I was pretty much spot on in terms of Silver Dragon society, culture, and individual quirks and personalities when I developed Mareia. (Yes, Robin, I did steal the name from you. It was a spur-of-the-moment decision as it came up in the course of a gaming session, and I am sorry if you find it offensive.)
One passage stands out more than others - especially since I wrote Mareia's character profile with only the information from the Monster Manual about Silver Dragons - and you might see why when you see it below. I thought I was being clever and giving Mareia a unique personality quirk when I wrote that she excitedly seeks out new and exotic foods to try.

Silver dragons are dedicated omnivores and always seek a variety of foods. Many prefer human fare and exist on it exclusively for years without suffering any ill effects. Though many silver dragons have favorite dishes, they seldom pass up the chance to try something new.
