It doesn't matter how high the AC is, or how thick the hide is, or how many HP the beast has left, or how little damage a minor fragmentation grenade will cause. (2d6, AoE, slashing, by the way.)
If someone makes two successful Grapple checks - one to latch onto the beast's head, one to force a grenade into its mouth - and then makes a Reflex crit to jump and roll away, I gotta reward that with something awesome.
Mother Burrower's head a splode. Two that failed their Reflex rolls get pelted with grenade and skull shrapnel and take damage. Of course, I can't let cheek like that go unpunished, so everyone gets pelted with blood and brains and other fun organic bits that will go censored for the children.
You know you've achieved the heights of DMship when all your female players - even the hardcore ones - start squealing in disgust. "EEEEEEWWWWWWWWWW~!"
