Filling in today in the city. The office building where I'm in is just a few blocks south of Maine South, and it's a triangle.

No, seriously. A perfect, equilateral 60-degree-angle-on-all-corners triangle. Not a square or a squashed rectangle.

It's great fun.

I had been here before, about nine months earlier, so I came back last week to brush up for today. In addition to mailing services, I am doing reception work.

I rather like reception work. Answer the phone, drag-and-drop on the computer to transfer it through. Answer the phone, drag-and-drop. Simple and relaxing.

I found out this weekend that it is not good to go to Booty Bay or Stormwind when your father is eating the bandwidth downloading an entire season of Hex at once. Even Thunder Bluff, which normally is choppy-but-manageable on Felix, was threatening to freeze me in place just off the lift.

I also found out that Skywall is definitely worse for my computer than Thunderhorn is, that female dwarves have this whole bishoujo twirly-braid thing when they're casting a spell, that a level seven paladin will aggro every single dinosaur in a 500-foot radius when walking from Goldshire to Booty Bay, and that goblins are kinda cute.

I am searching now for the type of memory that will work in an HP Vectra that was the top-top end machine of its time. I'm hoping to go all the way to 1024, though 512 will be fine if I can get it.

If anyone knows what I'm looking for, let me know.
