alliancesjr: (Bishy)
Well, it seems that I agree with the rest of you. I'm kicking this journal back off of friends-only. Rejoice in my return to annoying the general public!

I'm not going to go through again and re-classify all my previous entries back to public, though. Took too much time and trouble hiding them. I'll go through and unlock things that I believe would be relevant to what I'm currently working on, though, just because I want to. It's my journal, so screw you.

I love you guys.

To Jillian, current manager of the Society, recent Saint of Music of the First Gaian Church of Mod, and beloved friend, confidante, and accomplice -

You are mighty.
alliancesjr: (Roll A 1)
Jillian and I were talking last night of two separate ideas. Both of them came out of her head, that she's asking me to handle the details as she manages the actual plans themselves. (Much like we're currently doing with the Society, but that's beside the point.)

The first would be an AIM (or other multiple-user IM client) Dungeons and Dragons session. Hopefully starting in the summer, maybe one or two nights a week. Anyone'd be welcome, provided they were able to have everything taken care of (creation, development, maintainance) before the scheduled game-start. We'd ideally take turns DMing (if we wanted to), and maybe even use a subforum of a guild (or LJ community) to keep public record of everything if we needed to.

AIM would be ideal because of the dice-rolling function. The DM would be able to roll in secret, though, as is his/her right.

The second that we started talking about last night was the purchase of a new RP guild, to be used for a science-fiction genre RP. Structurally, it would be similar to D&D, with concepts and mechanics worked out in advance. Not Modist-related, so it would be open to anyone. (Provided, of course, that they are literate, competant, and dedicated.)

Ideas are being tossed around currently. (As I type this, actually; Marty and I are going over racial differences and attributes in DYB)
